Durable power of attorney
Power of attorney which
is effective even if the person who created it 9the principal) becomes
incapacitated, allowing the person who holds the power of attorney (the
person authorized to act) to make healthcare decisions and handle the
money and affairs of the principal. The person who holds the power of
attorney is called the attorney-in-fact.
